Domaine Devechi Mlle D
History :
The estate was founded in 1734 by its great-grandfather. A landowner and farmer who cultivated wheat, citron, olive, chestnut and vine on the plain of Barbaggio near Patrimonio in the heart of the appellation.
Subsequently, Marie-Françoise's grandfather worked in the footsteps of his father, being one of the first winemakers in the appellation to bottle wine and offer a free tasting at the cellar.
His father Jacques Devichi followed the path of his ancestors by working the vines from an early age by perpetuating the family tradition.
Marie-Françoise had chosen another career in tourism. After helping her father with the grape harvests and participating in the life of the farm, enriched by ancestral know-how passed down by his family, she decided to take over the estate in 2012 following the retirement of his father.
To develop the Marie-Françoise Devechi is following a long line of winemakers, representing the 6th generation.
