White wines of the AOC of Patrimonio

Vermentinu is the only varietal used for the production of the white wine of the Patrimonio appellation.
The white wine of Patrimonio holds the French label AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) but also the European label AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée).
The white wine of Patrimonio is produced in different municipalities of the Nebbiu region: St. Florent, Oletta, Santo-Pietro-di-Tenda, Poggio Oletta, Farinole, Barbaggio.
Its soil benefits from granitic soils, calcareous sand, silico-clay and a Mediterranean climate.
It is a wine that appeals for its quality, finesse and fruity aroma. The fine acidity that we discover during its tasting is well balanced to achieve a sweet finish in the mouth.
The white wine of Patrimonio is kept in cellar for 2 years, it is used at a temperature of 10 ° C.
It accompanies a fish, a cheese but also for dessert such as Fiadone (Corsican semolina cake)

TASTING NOTES: from a plot selection, fruit of a late harvest, aged on fine lees, this wine is characterized by the finesse of its bouquet,
the complexity of its aromas and its length in the mouth. Refined, it is a semi-garde wine. A brilliant and limpid robe, a mentholated floral nose,
expressing the purity of the Vermentinu, a wide mouth that confirms the nose: lemon, grapefruit, iodine and saline notes, freshness and minerality,
and a pleasant finish typical of a great white wine of Corsica
